BossTDS version 1.19.1 released.
- Improvement for Uniques rule: capping for non-unique hits and other features. This feature required a lot of internal changes in the TDS. As the result there's some compatibility loss - all the visitors which were non-uniques will become uniques after you install this update as the old tracking data is ignored.
Because of such scale of changes there might be more bugs than usually, so please monitor any changes of traffic behaviour in your TDS and money sites. The TDS now might work about 10% slower than before.
Maximum capping (1 to 7) can be set in the Settings window. Then the capping itself can be set in the Unique Hits rules of your OUTs. It is problematic to use this feature for Uniques by Cookie, as cookies have maximum size of about 4Kb. Overall, use with caution.
- Changes in IP Lists - it is now possible to autoimport zipped IP Lists. Inline commentaries starting with # are now allowed as well;
- Default response headers are now published in the Settings. It is not recommended to delete any of these default ones, but you may append your own headers to this list if you want;
- Popup check in the Client Checks rule. This rule checks if the window was opened as popup window by javascript. It does not check if the window has navigation bar or can be resized.
